Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a BDM based in Europe to work for a CDMO. The role involves
- Identifying new sales leads and closing existing opportunities in the European market to subsequently grow profitable sales revenues for their customers.
- Translating the existing business development strategy into a sales plan on an international basis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Identify and pursue sales leads from prospective clients
- Build client relationships between respective individuals and companies
- Share our organisations purpose/value proposition with key stakeholders
- Generate proposals
- Strong commercial understanding and costing/pricing experience
- Maintain knowledge of current market conditions
- Focused on opportunities in specific geographic areas requiring significant travel throughout Europe
- Strength and experience in building and maintaining excellent long-term relationships with clients
- Keep records of successful sales revenue generation
Commercial Management
- Develop and negotiate sales agreements
- Negotiate and close sales contracts
Business Support
- Knowledge of the biotechnology / biopharmaceutical industry and share my strong client-orientation, knowledge and awareness across the organisation
- Skilled at identifying, qualifying and converting sales leads for their key services
Managing Organisational Relationships
- Attend, participate and contribute to regular staff and management meetings, as necessary.
- Invest in developing relationships with all staff to fully understand their how I can best develop their knowledge of clients.
- Invest in developing relationships with the management team to ensure we are a high performing BD team and services meet expectations.
- Act as an ambassador for the company.
