We are seeking a CAD/CAM Operator to join our client's manufacturing facility in just outside Glasgow. The role involves creating 3D models, developing CNC programmes for machinery, and producing drawings for components. You will work within a team, keen attention to detail, and strong technical skills in CAD/CAM software. Key responsibilities include interpreting design specifications and ensuring precise programme output to optimise manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor
- Experience with Sigmanest CNC programming or similar software
- HND qualification in Computer Aided Manufacturing and Design would be desireable
- Background in sheet metal manufacturing and production processes
- Good team player with methodical working approach and high attention to detail
