At STEM Recruitment, we are recruiting an experienced HGV Driver for one of our clients.
The role will include the following:
- Operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete daily collections, including commercial, industrial, and environmental waste streams.
- Carry out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks in line with legislation and company procedures.
- Ensure safe loading, transportation and tipping of materials.
- Complete daily route sheets, delivery notes and digital records accurately.
- Report vehicle defects immediately and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Essential:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC card
- Digital Tachograph card
- Experience in driving large goods vehicles
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
- Knowledge of transport legislation and safe driving practices
