STEM Recruitment are supporting an established engineering business looking to add an experienced Team Lead to their compliance and technology function.
This is a key role focused on driving structure, consistency, and control across engineering data, product changes, and technical documentation. You’ll lead the configuration and change management process across our client’s product range, ensuring engineering information is accurate, compliant, and aligned across multiple teams.
The position would suit someone with strong experience in engineering governance, product lifecycle management, or change control within a regulated manufacturing or engineering environment.
You’ll be responsible for:

Leading engineering change and configuration activities across the business

Improving control and accuracy of BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation

Driving consistency in engineering standards across multiple sites

Supporting compliance, audit readiness, and product data integrity

Collaborating with teams across the business

Developing and mentoring a small specialist team

Identifying process improvements across engineering systems and workflows
What we’re looking for:

Degree in an Engineering discipline – or related field.

Experienced with configuration management, product lifecycle management and engineering change management

Experience working within a manufacturing environment – regulated preferred

Strong understanding of engineering documentation and product data control

Confident working cross-functionally and leading process improvements

Knowledge of SAP or similar system
