Credit Controller & Accounts Receivable Administrator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK-wide organisation for a Credit Controller & Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their finance team based in Carryduff.
This is a key role focused on managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely cash collection, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively chase overdue payments via phone and email
- Manage and reduce aged debt, improving cashflow
- Process and allocate incoming payments accurately
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Set up new customer accounts and carry out credit checks
- Prepare aged debtor reports for management
- Handle invoice queries, credit notes, and account enquiries
- Support the wider finance team with administrative duties
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable
- Strong understanding of payment allocation, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel (Sage/ERP experience desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach
