STEM Recruitment Solutions is delighted to be partnering with an innovative engineering and manufacturing business as they look to appoint an Engineering Team Leader to support ongoing growth within their product development function.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for the design and leading of engineering projects from concept through to release, while driving technical standards, team development, and continuous improvement across the wider engineering function.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product development activities - design, validation, verification, product release

Lead design reviews and support problem solving across development and production

Drive technical decision-making across performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability

Manage engineering priorities, project delivery, and technical risk

Lead design reviews and support problem solving across development and production

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product teams

Coach, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
About You
-
Degree qualified, or equivalent industry experience, within an Engineering discipline

Proven experience leading engineering or technical teams

Strong systems engineering and product development experience

Background working with complex electro-mechanical products or systems
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
