Our client is seeking experienced Forklift Truck Operators to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to support the warehouse operations within a fast-moving environment. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, managing stock storage, picking and packing goods, performing quality inspections, and maintaining accurate stock records. The ideal candidate should hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence, possess prior warehousing experience, and be comfortable with manual handling and health & safety procedures. Strong teamwork, organisation, and adaptability are essential to succeed in this role.
Hours, rotational days and backs, Mon - Fri, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or FMCG environment
- Current driving licence
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands
