About the Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering team at an active industrial manufacturing site in Glasgow. The role offers the chance to manage a skilled team, oversee maintenance operations, and contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Maintenance Department, overseeing a team of engineers, including mechanical and electrical supervisors, reliability engineers, and technicians.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization and the implementation of best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process developments.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.

Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering staff, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
Key Requirements

5–7 years of experience in maintenance management.

Proven leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Background in chemicals, heavy manufacturing, or process industries is advantageous.

Experience overseeing continuous improvement projects and process development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
