STEM Recruitment Solutions are recruiting a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our client’s site in Perthshire. This position blends hands-on quality involvement with the delivery of structured improvement projects, supporting both day-to-day manufacturing stability and longer-term operational development.
The Role
You will split your time between production quality support and driving targeted process and manufacturing improvements. This is a practical, connected role with strong project ownership.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide routine quality oversight across products and processes, including inspections and incoming materials checks.

Maintain adherence to internal standards and assist with quality reporting activities.

Support production teams to maintain consistent output, yield and performance.

Plan and deliver improvement projects focused on efficiency, process capability and product consistency.

Gather and analyse manufacturing data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

Update and maintain technical documentation such as process specifications and work instructions.

Work collaboratively with Quality, Production and Engineering teams to resolve issues and embed improvements.
Role Requirements

Degree-qualified in Engineering, Science or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

Knowledge of Project Management and Lean manufacturing principles

Understanding of manufacturing environments and structured improvement methodologies.

Analytical and methodical, with the confidence to challenge and influence when required.

Comfortable working cross-functionally and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical development environments is advantageous.

Exposure to materials-based processes would be beneficial but is not essential.
