Job Description:
STEM Recruitment Solutions are looking to hire Mechanical Engineers to join our manufacturing client based near Kirkintilloch. Our client operates globally, supplying high-end bespoke goods to companies across the world. Job Purpose
This role is responsible for planning, designing, setting up, modifying, optimising and monitoring manufacturing processes across the production site
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production in reducing / eliminating equipment downtime
- Provision of technical support to Operations and Production departments, including resolutions of design queries
- Facilitate continuous improvement
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, or processes and systems
- Comply with Health and Safety regulation, employing best practices
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Time served Mechanical Engineer
- At least 3 years of Mechanical Engineer experience
- Previous experience with injection moulding and assembly is desired but not essential
Shift Pattern:
- 4on, 4off
- 12 hour shifts
- 07:00 – 19:00 and 19:00 – 07:00 rotational days and nights
Job Details
- Salary from £38,000
- Multi-skilled training offered, which includes a £2,000 salary uplift after successful completion
