STEM Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician for our client based in Lanarkshire, Scotland. This client operates in the food processing and food manufacturing space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support related to the maintenance, installation, and operation of electrical and mechanical engineering systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key duties include fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, machine calibration, and assisting with new equipment commissioning.
The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, including dismantling and reassembling machinery, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring safety compliance.
Collaboration with external services and technical documentation reading will also be essential.
Requirements:

Electrical Engineering discipline - time served or qualification (HNC / HND / BEng)

Experience in electrical fault diagnosis and maintenance

Experience working with automation and automated systems.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
