We are recruiting for an experienced Process Engineering Manager to join our client based in Glasgow.
This is a senior, site-critical role within an industrial environment. You’ll lead the Process Engineering function, manage a team of Process Engineers, and drive performance across product and process optimisation. Sitting within the site leadership team, you’ll have real influence over manufacturing strategy, continuous improvement, and operational delivery.
We are seeking someone who takes ownership, challenges the status quo, and actively drives improvement without waiting to be directed.
Someone from a background of chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, pharma, food and beverage would be best suited to this role.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (essential)
- 6+ years’ experience in manufacturing / product realisation environments (end-to-end delivery)
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience within a technical team
- Strong background in process improvement and manufacturing optimisation
- Experience in regulated or complex process industries
- Proactive mindset - takes initiative, drives change, and improves performance without prompting
