STEM Recruitment Solutions are working with a valued client based in Edinburgh in their search for Production Operative to join on a permanent basis.
As the Production Operator, you will follow GMP and SOP procedures to manufacture high-quality diagnostic products, including buffer/reagent preparation, monoclonal cell line progression, filling, labelling, and packing. Your responsibilities will include maintaining precise documentation, equipment upkeep, stock control, and supporting process improvements. You will be working within a cleanroom environment, adhering to safety guidelines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure production schedules are met efficiently.
- Progress monoclonal cell lines in accordance with appropriate SOPs for Cell Banking, Tissue Culture or Fermentation.
- Ensure cultures progress according to monoclonal production schedule and discuss alterations to schedule with Line Manager.
- Complete appropriate documentation efficiently and correctly.
- Maintain laboratory stock levels.
- Ensure awareness of COSHH/ Risk Assessments
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, or validation principles
- Ability to work in cleanroom settings with manual handling requirements
- Flexibility to work across departments and participate in overtime as needed
