We’re working with a leading timber processing manufacturer with sites across the UK and Ireland, currently seeking an experienced Saw doctor to join their team just outside of Edinburgh.
You’ll play a key role in the production of high-quality timber products for the construction, pallet wood, and fencing industries. The company is growing fast and invests heavily in both people and technology — offering excellent opportunities for development and ongoing professional training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and service saws and cutting equipment
- Support smooth production processes within a fast-paced environment
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar sawdoctor or maintenance role
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Team player with good organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to work alternative shift patterns
- Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on environment
