Stem Recruitment have a new opportunity for an exciting quality professional who comes from a pharmaceutical background. We are recruiting a Senior Quality Officer based in Livingston to maintain and enhance the quality management system, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and lead internal and external supplier/subcontractor audits. Some of the responsibilities include
- Plan, conduct, and report on internal and external supplier/subcontractor audits in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and work with departments to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life sciences discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology).
- Minimum of five [5] years’ experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in auditing within the life sciences sector.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP), and auditing principles.
- Proven ability to lead and manage internal and vendor audits, with a track record of identifying and addressing non-compliance issues.
