Purpose of the Position
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the production equipment. Your responsibilities will include planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous process improvements. You'll also install state-of-the-art operating systems where precision is critical. GMP experience is essential, and pharmaceutical experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Work in shifts to maintain optimal equipment functionality, adhering to established processes, safety standards, and GMP guidelines to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Ensure seamless operation of all on-site equipment and auxiliary systems. Investigate equipment failures and support activities to improve reliability.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety protocols, and comply with quality standards to support reliable and compliant operations.
- Environmental Health & Safety: Execute maintenance activities safely, including Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practices, and COSHH compliance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as an Engineering Technician or equivalent role
- GMP experience essential
- Good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures
- Pharmaceutical experience desired
- Computer literacy (email, MS Applications, etc.)
- Minimum C&G / ONC / OND in an Engineering Discipline
- Basic written, numeracy, and verbal communication skills
